In February, Linkliving services got a donation of a Kitchen from DMDesign who are experts of kitchen, bedroom and bathroom design. It’ll help them facilitate courses like ‘cooking on a budget’ in Kirkcaldy, Fife.
The Link Group is one of Scotland’s leading funding not for profit organisations and LinkLiving Ltd is part of the group. LinkLiving currently helps 10,000 families and individuals across 26 Scottish residential areas.
It offers services in Edinburgh, East Lothian, Midlothian, Fife, and Falkirk, giving nearly 2,500 hours a week of hands on help, along with advice and care to 400 young people.
Connor Webster, a course participant enjoyed the new Kitchen and said, “It was a great way to be introduced to others within the building as I did not know anyone in the area. I also enjoyed getting to know about other things that Greener Kirkcaldy does in the surrounding area.”
Jacqueline Nugent, LinkLiving Service Delivery Manager is delighted. she said, “A huge thank you to DMDesign for this fantastic donation. This is a very welcome addition to the range of support we can offer the people who use our services. We already have loads of ideas in the pipeline.”
